Salman Khan lauded the MP for undertaking the mission. He said, “Planting trees is a very good thing. I don’t know why people take interest in cutting trees. It is said that when a man stops growing, you should plant a tree. Tree is a still man and a man is a walking tree. This bond is very important”. Highlighting the significance of plantation, Salman said, “wherever you have trees, you will have water”.

He said that the number of people killed by natural disasters, severe rains, and floods is so high, and that promoting vast plantations is the only way to reduce this human loss. MP Santosh Kumar appreciated Salman for agreeing to join the Green India Challenge at his request. He stated that Salman’s attempt to plant trees will undoubtedly motivate millions of his admirers across the nation.
