Zambia and India sign agreement for Medical Facility

Zambia(CU)_ Zanis-Zambia and the Indian government have reached an agreement to develop a state-of-the-art medical center in Zambia. The purpose of the medical center that will be constructed in Zambia is to provide high quality health care services to the patients who frequently travel overseas for specialized medical treatment.

After having conversations of mutual interest in New Delhi, India, Vice President Mutale Nalumango and the administration of Apollo Hospital reached an agreement. Mrs. Nalumango stated that the government prioritizes health owing to its significance in achieving the nation’s development goals. She mentioned that numerous patients from all around the globe, including Zambia, had benefited from the services provided by Apollo Hospitals.

According to the Vice President, the opening of Apollo Hospital in Zambia will provide unique, high-quality health care services to a large number of individuals. According to Mrs. Nalumango, owing to Zambia’s unique geographical position in the area, people from neighboring countries will also benefit greatly from the health care services.
