Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor blessed with a Baby Girl!

Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ It’s a baby girl! Bollywood’s adorable couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were blessed with a cute baby girl. The duo was spotted at the hospital premises earlier that day. The actress was admitted to the HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai where she delivered a baby girl. The pair tied the knot in a private ceremony at their Mumbai house Vastu in April of this year, and Alia announced her pregnancy on Instagram in June.

Upon welcoming her baby, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram account and penned the following note: “And in the best news of our lives: – Our baby is here…and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love – blessed and obsessed Parents!!! love love love Alia and Ranbir.”

In October, the Kapoors and Alia’s besties held a private baby shower in their Mumbai apartment. Alia posted lovely images from the celebrations with the caption “just…love” and added yellow heart emojis. Kapoor and Bhatt family members, including Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima, Karisma, Shweta Bachchan, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt, and others attended the ceremony. Following the news, Alia and Ranbir’s colleagues flooded in to congratulate the pair on their parenthood. Among them was Alia’s co-star in Heart of Stone, Gal Gadot. In response to the post, the Hollywood actress wrote, “Congratulations” and added a love emoticon in the comment box.

Ranbir’s mom Neetu Kapoor, a delighted grandmother, made two visits to the hospital to see her newborn granddaughter, daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt, and son Ranbir Kapoor. In the video clip, she was seen speaking to the media people. When asked about the new mom and daughter’s health, she said, “Fine, absolutely fine”. When a media person inquired about her granddaughter’s name, she said, “Abhi nahi” (not now). In terms of work, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are both currently enjoying the success of their recently released film Brahmastra.
