USA (Commonwealth Union): V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai, the popular Indian-American who invented email at the age of 14, has revealed his intention to succeed Elon Musk as CEO of Twitter, following Musk’s recent announcement to step down from the role. Ayyadurai, who is 59 years old, was born in Mumbai and holds four degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), including a doctorate in biological engineering. Now, he has applied for the post through Twitter.

Ayyadurai’s Twitter statement to Musk read, “I am interested in the CEO position @Twitter. I have 4 degrees from MIT & have created 7 successful high-tech software companies. Kindly advise of the process to apply”. Many users responded to Ayyadurai’s tweet with reactions that ranged from supportive to sarcastic.

Greg Autry, one of the Twitter users, responded to Ayyadurai’s Tweet commenting, “I’ve observed that degrees are one of the last things @elonmusk looks at while hiring. (Though your education credits are indeed formidable.)” According to another Twitter user, “Best of luck to you. I’d expect your application to be rejected because you mention your education”.

In 1978, Ayyadurai developed a computer software that he named “email.” It featured every aspect of the interoffice email system, including the Inbox, Outbox, Folders, Memo, Attachments, Address Book, etc. In 1982, the US government granted him the first Copyright for Email, and honored him as the creator of email. According to reports, prior to Ayyadurai, YouTuber MrBeast revealed interest in undertaking one of the most challenging tasks in the world today.

A latest report also stated that Musk is actively hunting for a replacement Twitter CEO after losing his own vote on whether or not he should resign as CEO. His survey found that a staggering 57.5% of respondents wanted him to resign as CEO of the microblogging network. As a result, the billionaire stated that he will step down as Twitter’s CEO after he finds someone dumb enough to take over the position.
