This weekend, a traditional cleansing was performed on two incestuous cousins of the Inomu Ikomion clan in the Kumi District of eastern Uganda to remove generational curses.
Public flogging and being compelled into a grass kiln that was later lit on fire were part of the rite. They were let to escape the fire, and the clan enforcers pursued them and beat them even worse.
