UGANDA (COMMONWEALTH UNION) – There is a saying that one drop of dirt can tarnish a whole pot of clean water. This is exactly what happens when one person decides to do the wrong thing when everyone he works with does the right thing.
There was an arrest made in Uganda where the Ugandan police arrested 6 people for the theft of 32 cars in the Kayunga District. These thefts of vehicles have been happening over a period of a few weeks and the police have been trying to solve the case from the start.
Now it seems that there was a group of people stopping vehicles or waiting in the shadows and then running off with the vehicle. Drivers have made complaints with the police but since the men had been masked it has not been an easy task to catch the culprits.
In the latest theft the driver stormed into the nearest police station and made a huge claim saying that hi vehicle which was a tipper lorry was stolen in broad day light and nothing was done about it. But of course, the police got out there and was looking out for a stolen vehicle but the driver of the lorry could not explain what the man looked like as he was wearing a mask.
when with the help of other forces the police did catch the ring members of this vehicle theft it seems that one of the culprits was a police officer. Now the story makes more sense. It seems possible that the police officer that was involved in these heists coached the robbers how to not get caught.
The police are yet to release a statement as to how the investigations are going.
