Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Royal Challengers Bangalore (RBC) star player Virat Kohli opened up about his car collections and stated that he sold the majority of the cars he has owned over the years, describing them as “impulsive purchases.” The Indian cricketer shared the information on RCB’s YouTube channel during a recent photoshoot. He said, “Most of the cars I used to own were impulsive purchases, and I ended up hardly driving or traveling in them. Beyond a certain point, I was like, ‘This is pointless,’ so I ended up selling most of them, and now we only use what we absolutely need, it’s about being practical”.

During the interview, he also disclosed his current music selection. He said, “Surprisingly, I have gone a little back in time and recently downloaded Arijit Singh’s MTV Unplugged playlist. He did an MTV unplugged section with some of his finest songs, and it was a soft-rock, very relaxing version. I enjoyed those renditions”. Virat Kohli stated this in a video shared to Royal Challengers Bangalore’s social media handles.

Further, he also named two batters whom he considers to be the “Best of All Time,” stating that they dramatically altered the dynamics of cricket. He said, “I have always considered Sachin Tendulkar and Sir Viv Richards to be the two greatest cricket players of all time. Sachin is always my hero. These two players have revolutionized batting in their generation and altered the game’s whole dynamic. That is why I feel they are the two greatest”.

When asked what he would say if he shared a meal with retired tennis legend Roger Federer and footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, Virat replied that he would simply listen to both of them speak. Virat said, “I would be silent and listen to both of them, since I would not have much to add to that conversation. It would be all about soaking everything in, listening to two of the greatest sportsmen in sports history”.

Virat recalled how much he enjoyed playing with trump cards with his buddies as a child and stated that it was one of his favorite games. Virat said, “We used to search for such cards. Lex Luger (former WWE wrestler), was ranked number one. There was Giant Gonsalvez (WWE wrestler) as well. It was fun playing with those cards. I also used to collect posters of sportspersons, particularly cricketers”. On April 2, 2023, RCB will open their Indian Premier League (IPL) season against Mumbai Indians (MI) at their home venue, M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
