Health & Medicine, UK (Commonwealth Union) – Researchers have found a single injection of the elongated Botox capable of relieving pain for months in the absence of risk of paralysis or addiction.

Botox, also known as botulinum toxin type A, is a popular cosmetic treatment that has been used for over 30 years. In its original form, Botox was used to treat medical conditions such as muscle spasms and migraines. However, its cosmetic benefits were quickly discovered, and it is now widely used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the face.

Botox is most commonly used to treat wrinkles and fine lines around the eyes, forehead, and mouth. It can also be used to reduce the appearance of neck bands and to slim the face by relaxing the muscles in the jawline.

The treatment itself is relatively simple and typically takes only a few minutes. Botox is injected directly into the targeted muscles using a very fine needle. The patient may experience some mild discomfort during the procedure, but this is usually short-lived.
