Hotels (Commonwealth Union) _ Amadeus has recently joined forces with the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance (SHA), leveraging its extensive travel technology expertise to contribute to the advancement of a more prosperous and responsible hospitality sector.

As a global travel technology company, Amadeus envisions significant potential in collaborating with stakeholders in the hospitality industry. Together, they aim to play a vital role in achieving SHA’s overarching objective of Net Positive Hospitality—an initiative that seeks to ensure the industry gives back to destinations more than it extracts.

Within the framework of its membership, Amadeus has secured a permanent position on the Senior Advisory Council. This council, designed to offer strategic counsel, establish a network of influential leaders, and drive transformative change toward Net Positive Hospitality, will benefit from Amadeus’ unique insights. The key focus areas for Amadeus within this collaboration include education, promoting accessibility, and assisting travelers and guests in making well-informed decisions.

Glenn Mandziuk, CEO of SHA, emphasized the significance of Amadeus joining the Senior Advisory Council, stating that it marks a crucial step in addressing the challenges confronting the hospitality industry.
