Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Abhishek Bachchan celebrated his 46th birthday in Maldives with family and posted the holiday album of his trip on Instagram. The majority of the photographs he uploaded are impersonal, including sea and sky views and glimpses of the resort where the Bachchans stayed. However, there was one picture in the album that won many hearts. Sharing the pictures, Abhishek penned beautiful captions. He wrote, “Some more beautiful views. Especially the last one”.
Unsurprisingly, the final pic was a photograph of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, wife of Amitabh Bachchan, looking stunning in a black outfit with her distinctive red lips. Abhishek was right, the final image was the most breathtaking view. As usual, Aaradhya also joined her parents. One of the photographs depicted a circle of flowers with the words, “Welcome home Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya.”
Sharing a few beautiful sceneries, Abhishek captioned them as, “Celebrating another trip around the sun! The weekend was perfect. I would like to thank St Regis Maldives for making it so memorable for me. We had a wonderful time. Beautiful views, beautiful people. My gratitude.” Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai tied the knot in 2007 after a few years of dating. They had previously worked together in films such as Dhai Akshar Prem Ke and Guru. The duo fell in love while filming Guru. The couple are parents to daughter Aaradhya who was born in 2012. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan appeared in Mani Ratnam’s historical drama Ponniyin Selvan 1 last year, and the second part of it will hit the screens this year.
Abhishek’s most recent appearance was in the movies Dasvi and Bob Biswas. His upcoming projects are Bholaa and Ghoomer. Shabana Azmi, Angad Bedi, Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, and Ivanka Das also appear in Ghoomer. The film is produced by Hope Productions. Announcement for Ghoomer was made last year on Abhishek’s birthday. During that time, the actor posted a photo of the clapboard with the caption, “Can’t ask for a better birthday present! Birthdays are best spent working. Ghoomer….Now spinning!”.
