The secret to healthy hair doesn’t necessarily involve a special shampoo, oil, or mask. These tropical products will improve the look and feel of your hair. The strength and length of your hair depend mostly on what you consume.

If individuals meet their biotin (aka vitamin B7) needs through a healthy, balanced diet then no need to reach for a biotin supplement. Beef liver, pork, and salmon are a few foods that are rich in biotin.

Taub- Dix, R.D. said that vitamin C boosts collagen production and is a powerful antioxidant that protects hair follicles. Strawberries, kiwi broccoli, and oranges are rich in vitamin c.

Taub- Dix, R.D also mentioned that salmon, particularly fatty fish are rich in omega-3 fatty acids which keep your hair extra shiny and good for your heart health. Flaxseeds, chia seeds, and walnuts are a few other options that are rich in omega-3.

Almonds are a hair health powerhouse. It’s important for stimulating hair growth since it contains vitamin E and protein. Almonds have a direct effect on hair growth and strength. A potent antioxidant, vitamin E, preserves the fat content in the hair and prevents hair loss.

To nourish hair follicles and encourage growth, vitamin E, protein, and healthy fat in almonds work together, which results in healthy thick hair. Peanuts, sunflower seeds, and spinach are rich in vitamin E.

The health of your hair is complex and may depend on dietary lifestyle and environmental factors. Experts recommend food over supplements when it comes regarding your nutritional needs in the most hair-healthy way. Compared with supplements, nutrients in foods are easily absorbed by the body.
