AFRICA (COMMONWEALTH UNION) – There seems to be shortages in all industries all over the world as New Jersey goes through another shortage of care workers. Now there are enough jokes made about how some parts in the world are made for people to retire.

Although New Jersey was never on the top of that list one can only assume that it’s become a popular place for people in and around the area to take up as an option for retirement. But of course, its not just for the retired sector but also health care in general.

New Jersey seems to be suffering a shortage of health care workers and was desperately trying their hardest to recruit more health care workers. It just so happens that the African continent had been producing for a long-time brilliant health care workers and their time to shine had come.

Health care workers have been in demand for a long time and it does not come as a shock that there in a shortage of them in certain parts of the world as the pandemic made a dent in the industry and health care workers opened their eyes to the dangers of the job.

Whilst they did not leave their jobs, they took a step back to reevaluate what was more important. If their mental health was suffering because of their work. So now the African health care workers have come into Jersey to help bridge the gap.

The African care workers have been working wonders in Jersey and the people of Jersey are nothing short of grateful. It was not an easy ask or transition. But everything seems to be going really well and that is something to celebrate.

One can only hope that this shortage will soon end and be thankful to the health care workers that came from all over Africa to help in this time of need.
