African countries focus on solar power to electrify hospitals

Two Nigerian companies, Havenhill Synergy and WindGen Power, have been chosen for the pilot program in Nigeria. Havenhill will supply solar energy to 15 healthcare clinics in Oyo State, and WindGen will generate solar energy to a peri-urban hospital in Kubwa, which is an area council in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, Abuja, and a residential district in Bwari.

Finally, Zhyphen will operate from Mozambique, where it will build a solar system in a private hospital in the province of Niassa. Odyssey will gather data over the entire lifecycle of the future projects using its Powering Health platform in order to provide insight into their technical performance and commercial strategy.
