Ajay Devgn completes three decades of Bollywood life!

November 1991 and there has been no turning back since. To commemorate this incredible achievement, the actor’s colleagues and admirers have been posting messages and images on social media. And one of the most sincere greetings came from Akshay Kumar, who recently co-starred in the Rohit Shetty flick Sooryavanshi alongside Ajay Devgn. Recalling those golden days, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Kya din the yaar (Those were the days) Ajay Devgn, and just like that it’s been 30 years to Phool Aur Kaante. Time flies, friendship stays!”

By sharing a shot from the sets of Sooryavanshi, in which the two actors portray top policemen, Akshay Kumar shed light on their bond, which dates all the way back to their days as young performers eager to make their mark in Bollywood. Appreciating Ajay Devgn’s father, legendary stunt choreographer and action director Veeru Devgan, Akshay Kumar captioned the post as, “Mujhe yaad hai when as newbies, main aur tu saath saath Juhu beach pe martial arts practice karte the when your dad used to train us (I still remember the days when we as newbies would practice martial arts on Juhu beach when your dad used to train us)”.

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan also congratulated Ajay Devgn, appreciating his work as well as his personal character. Actor Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter and wrote, “Ajay Devgn completes 30 years in the Film Industry, on 22nd Nov, when his film Phool Aur Kante released. Soft-spoken, non-interfering, yet filled with passion. My congratulations Ajay, may you continue for another 70.” Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar have collaborated in movies like Khakee, Major Saab, and Satyagraha.

Milan Luthria, who directed Ajay Devgn in Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, also sent a message appreciating the actor. The director wrote, “Unbridled talent. Unbelievable discipline. Unwavering focus. Congratulations Ajay. Can’t wait to be on set together”.

And how does Ajay Devgn feel about his success journey? The actor’s crew, on the other hand, made a clip in which one of the team members approaches the actor while he is working out and wishes him on completing 30 years in the industry. Ajay Devgn responded and said, “I have just started warming up” and added, “Dua mein yaad rakhna (Keep in your prayers).”

Ajay Devgn is renowned for his introverted character and he is a guy of few words. He shared a video thanking his friends. He said, “My team made me repost this. But, thank you for all your love. Dua mein yaad rakhna…”. Ajay Devgn was most recently seen in the film Sooryavanshi.” RRR, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Mayday, Maidaan, and Thank God are some of his future projects. He married actress Kajol in 1999 and the couple are parents to two kids.
