Mumbai, India (CU) _ Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, and his wife Nita Ambani attended their future daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant’s arangetram event at the Jio World Center in Mumbai. Ms. Merchant is the daughter of Viren Merchant, a businessman and a close friend of Mukesh Ambani. In 2019, she was officially engaged to Anant Ambani. An arangetram signifies the conclusion of a dancer’s formal training in classical dance and their on-stage debut. Ms. Merchant is a student of Shree Nibha Arts Guru Bhavana Thakar.
During the occasion, Mukesh Ambani was seen happily posing with his cute grandson Prithvi, the son of Akash and Shloka Mehta. Nita Ambani as usual looked gorgeous in an orange silk saree with a floral border. Several businesspeople and Bollywood celebrities, including Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh, made their presence at the event.
Ranveer Singh attended the event wearing a red kurta, a red mask, and red eyeglasses. Salman Khan was spotted at the event in a stylish blazer and a dark blue shirt with a more formal look. Salman had just returned from Abu Dhabi, where the IIFA Awards were held a couple of hours ago. Maharashtra minister Aaditya Thackeray, along with his mother Rashmi Thackeray and brother Tejas Thackeray, graced the occasion at the Jio World event.
Former Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge also attended the event. In contrast to the cricketer, who was spotted sporting a pink and white kurta-pajama, Sagrika went for a basic beige kurta with a vibrant red dupatta. Additionally, Aamir Khan, the television stars Jasmin Bhasin and Aly Goni, Anil Ambani and his wife Tina Ambani were also present.
This week, Mukesh Ambani surpassed Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani as Asia’s wealthiest individual. According to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, Mukesh Ambani’s net worth has increased to $99.7 billion, whereas Gautam Adani’s was $98.7 billion. According to the latest Bloomberg Billionaire index, Mukesh Ambani is the world’s eighth richest person.
