Mumbai, India (CU)_ Bollywood’s budding actress Ananya Panday was endearingly candid on the seventh episode of Koffee With Karan, where she appeared with Vijay Deverakonda, her co-star in the film Liger. During the show’s discussion, Karan Johar asked Ananya of her upbringing in the “corridors of Mannat” with her besties Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor.
KJo also inquired if she has a crush on Aryan, the son of Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan. Ananya remarked, “Yeah, he is cute. I had a crush on Aryan.” When Karan Johar questioned her, “Why did it not materialize?”, Ananya said, “Ask him,” referring to Aryan. Ananya Panday was also questioned if their friendship will last in light of Shanaya and Suhana’s upcoming Bollywood debuts.
In response to the question, Ananya expressed her genuine feelings for her close friends. She said, “Yes. Because it’s not even friendship anymore. I think it’s family. It’s always been family. I would like to believe that it wouldn’t affect our friendship. I think, we all just have a lot of genuine love for each other. Whenever I talk about it, I say it was a collective dream growing up. We all wanted to be actors. We’ve had so many discussions, and we have played so many acting games. So I think I’ll be as happy for Shanaya and Suhana’s success as I am for my own. It honestly feels like that”.
Shanaya Kapoor, who is the daughter of Maheep and Sanjay Kapoor, is yet to step into Bollywood films with Bedhadak, produced by Dharma Productions. Suhana Khan, who is the daughter of Bollywood superstar SRK and Gauri Khan, will make her film debut along with Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda in The Archies. The director of the film will be Zoya Akhtar. Ananya Panday, who is the daughter of Chunky and Bhavan Pandey, began her Bollywood career with the 2019 film Student Of The Year 2 from Dharma Productions.
