India (Commonwealth Union)_ Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad will soon launch a Department for Regenerative Medicine in collaboration with the internationally renowned traumatology and regenerative techniques expert Prof. Enrico Castellacci. He is a surgeon specialized in Orthopaedics, Traumatology, and Sports Medicine. Other honorable positions held by him are National President of the Italian Football Doctors’ Association; Former Medical Director of the Italian National Football Team, which bagged the 2006 World Cup; and former Head of the Medical Staff of the Chinese National Soccer Team.

Regenerative medicine is the medicine of the future. Instead of treating symptoms with drugs and treatments, the regenerative medicine replaces or regenerates tissues or organs destroyed by illness, injury, age or other factors. In addition to assuring the repair of larger cartilage abnormalities, this single-stage procedure provides huge benefits to patients including joint preservation and minimal invasive injury. In the majority cases, this FDA-approved treatment restores the joint to normal status.
