Average house price cracks $1m mark

AUCKLAND (CU)_During the three months to the end of October, the average house value in New Zealand cracked the $1 million mark, according to a major property services company in the country. Recent data published by Quotable Value (QV) shows that during the third quarter of this year house prices nationwide escalated by 5.3 per cent to an average of $1,002,153. This amounted to a 27 per cent increase from the same time last year.
