England (Common Wealth) _ The World Naked Bike Ride, an annual event, with this year’s theme protesting against car culture and oil dependency, will take place in London on June 10, 2023.
To protest against car culture illustrating the vulnerability of cyclists, environmental activists will ride nude through the streets of the nation’s capital. WNBR is a global campaign with several interconnected themes.
Its goals are to raise awareness of the world’s dependence on oil, eradicate the culture of the automobile, secure genuine rights for cyclists, expose their vulnerability on city streets, and celebrate their freedom of movement.
Throughout the month of June, similar events will also be held in other locations around the globe, including Brussels on June 17 and numerous American cities and towns on June 24.
Free registration is available for the World Naked Bike Ride London 2023, which passes through Clapham Junction, Croydon, Hyde Park, Regent’s Park, and Tower Hill.
There are several start places throughout the route where interested parties can join the trip, including a convenient start point close to Waterloo.
The annual WNBR London Naked Bike Ride is deserving, free, enjoyable, and legal, and it’s improving everyone’s quality of life.
WNBR London is an unincorporated, nonprofit organization. According to its constitution, it is a membership-based organization. The campaign aims to highlight its themes by being a joyful, orderly, legal spectacle that entertains the general audience and grabs media attention. It is a part of both the international World Naked Bike Ride network and WNBR UK. It has no affiliations with other naturist, cycling, or protest groups.
Although we undoubtedly missed a few, WNBR London 2022 was a terrific success with a clicker count of 1,003 riders. Please join us on Saturday, June 10, 2023, as it is the customary date for the ride.
Naked bikers have been spotted riding in previous years with messages such as “Burn Fat Not Oil,” “Less Gas More Ass,” or “Energy Is Renude” painted on their backs.
There are frequent volunteer body painters at the starting sites to make it simple to participate in these body-painted messages.
Although cycling in complete nudity is voluntary and some individuals do it for modesty or comfort, many people choose to go completely bare-faced in order to make a statement.
On its website, the organizers caution participants from changing before the ride begins.
