London, United Kingdom (CU)_ Bilfinger UK and Bilfinger Salamis have declared their intention to merge to form a new engineering and maintenance firm with a revenue of £346 million. The collaboration will establish one of the UK’s largest tier one contractors, merging the two companies’ expertise in order to broaden the range of services and solutions to clients. With 14 onshore facilities throughout the UK’s main industrial centers and operating under the Bilfinger UK brand, the new firm will employ 5,000 workers during peak seasons.
