MUMBAI, India (CWBN)_ The Bollywood actor Faraaz Khan passed away in Mumbai hospital yesterday. The actor was suffering from a chest infection and was hospitalized on October 8. Following his chest infection, he was diagnosed with brain infection. After a month’s stay in hospital, the 46-year-old actor died on Wednesday.
Many Bollywood actors shared their condolences in social media for the actor’s demise. Actress Pooja Bhatt wrote on Twitter saying “With a heavy heart, I break the news that Faraaz Khan has left us for what I believe, is a better place. The Void Will Be Impossible To Fill”.
Actresses Pooja Bhatt also helped Faraaz Khan with his medical bills and gave moral support to the actor’s family as well. She shared the news in Twitter and wrote “With a heavy heart, I break the news that Faraaz Khan has left us for what I believe, is a better place. Gratitude to all for your help and good wishes when he needed it most. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. The void he has left behind will be impossible to fill”. In another Twitter note she paid tribute to his music and wrote “May your music always play across time and space”.
The previous month when Faraaz Khan was hospitalized, his brother Fahmaan Khan asked financial help from Bollywood actors and arranged for a fundraising platform. He said that Faraaz was diagnosed with chest infection followed by brain infection and that the family needs 25 lakhs for his treatment. Pooja Bhatt came forward to help the actor and donated her share. She also requested the other stars to make their contribution. She tweeted “Please share and contribute if possible. I am. Would be grateful if any of you can as well”.
Apart from Pooja Bhatt, Actor Salman Khan also helped the actor and paid his medical bills. Actress Kashmera Shah revealed this information. She said “Actor Faraaz Khan of Fareb fame is in critical condition and Salman has stood by his side and helped him like he helps so many others”.
Actor Faraaz Khan has starred in many Bollywood movies and featured in TV shows too. He acted in movies such as Fareb, Prithvi, Mehndi, Dulhan Banoo Main Teri and Chand Bujh Gaya and featured in TV shows such as Ssshhhh…Koi Hai, Raat Hone Ko Hai and Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka.
