Bollywood Icons Join Hollywood! Salman Khan & Sanjay Dutt’s Saudi Shoot Sparks Buzz

Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt have reportedly joined an upcoming Hollywood thriller, marking their exciting entry into international cinema. The actors have recently flown to Saudi Arabia to film their cameo roles, with shooting currently underway at the newly inaugurated AlUla Studios. The three-day shoot is set to conclude on February 19. While specifics of the Hollywood thriller remain under wraps due to strict non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), sources have confirmed that the film is designed to cater to a global audience.

A report reveals that both Khan and Dutt will feature in pivotal sequences of the movie. “Salman and Sanjay are hugely popular, particularly in the Middle East. Their scenes are specially crafted to make an impact,” a source close to the project shared. AlUla Studios, located in the scenic AlUla region of Saudi Arabia, has recently become a prime filming destination for international productions. The studio’s stunning landscapes have already been featured in films such as Kandahar (2023), starring Gerard Butler. The ongoing Hollywood thriller will similarly take advantage of the area’s cinematic vistas. Salman Khan’s team reportedly arrived in Riyadh on Sunday morning to begin the three-day shoot.

The collaboration between Khan and Dutt has always been well-received by fans, as the two actors share a longstanding professional history. They have starred together in several Bollywood hits, including Saajan (1991), Chal Mere Bhai (2000), and Yeh Hai Jalwa (2002). Their on-screen friendship has always been a major draw for audiences. Last year, they reunited for the track Old Money by Indo-Canadian rapper Dhillon, which blended Bollywood nostalgia with contemporary Punjabi music.

On the professional front, Salman Khan is preparing for the release of Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss. The film, which is set to release on Eid 2025, also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Prateik Babbar as the antagonist, and Sharman Joshi. Khan is expected to showcase an action-packed role in the movie. Beyond Sikandar, Salman has several other projects lined up, including Tiger vs. Pathaan, Kick 2, and an untitled film with director Atlee.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt is also keeping busy with a packed schedule. His upcoming films include Housefull 5, Baaghi 4, and a sequel to Son of Sardaar. Dutt will also star alongside Tiger Shroff in Baaghi 4, which is slated for release on September 5, 2025.
