The attendance of these celebrities not only added color to the electoral process but also underscored the significance of individual votes. Accordingly, prominent personalities from the Bollywood industry graced the polling booths to participate in the voting process during the fifth phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. A multitude of celebrities, including Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Hema Malini, were photographed outside the polling centers.

Akshay Kumar exercised his voting rights for the first time following the reinstatement of his Indian citizenship. Subsequent to casting his vote, he engaged with the media. In a video message on X, Akshay articulated, “I want my India to be developed and strong. I voted keeping that in mind. India should vote for what they deem is right…I think voter turnout will be good.” The iconic actor Amitabh Bachchan, along with his spouse Jaya Bachchan, made a significant appearance, emphasizing the importance of electoral participation.

Superstar Salman Khan garnered considerable media attention as he appeared at the polling booth, emphasizing the pivotal role of each individual vote.
The graceful Aishwarya Rai Bachchan cast her vote, embodying her dedication to the democratic process. Kiara Advani was observed at the polling station, encouraging young voters to partake in the electoral process. Expectant parents Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh ventured out in Mumbai on Monday morning to fulfill their voting obligations. The soon-to-be parents were spotted outside the polling booth after performing their voting franchise in the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Notably, the media caught the attention of Deepika Padukone’s baby bump, which was visible beneath her loose white shirt as she arrived to cast her vote.
Apart from Maharashtra, voting also took place in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.
