LONDON (CU)_Since the expiration of the Brexit transition period on New Year’s Eve, businesses in the United Kingdom have been struggling with disruptions caused by the country’s withdrawal from the European Union, in addition to the economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, amid concerns over their impact on businesses, jobs and the economy, the government introduced a long line of delays on the implementation of several post-Brexit controls, including an extension on the deadline for the launch of post-Brexit product safety standards, which was announced last week.
