Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Sunjay Kapur, a notable businessman and the chairman of auto component giant Sona Comstar, as well as Bollywood diva Karima Kapoor’s ex-husband, died at the age of 53 after having a heart attack in the middle of a polo tournament in England. The event apparently occurred after Kapur mistakenly swallowed a bee during the game, which may have caused the cardiac arrest. The news was confirmed by business consultant Suhel Seth, who shared his condolences on social media. “Deeply saddened at the passing of @sunjaykapur: he passed away earlier today in England. A terrible loss and deepest condolences to his family and colleagues,” Seth posted on X (formerly Twitter).
