In a groundbreaking move, the Home Lands Group of Companies is set to become the first Sri Lankan real estate developer to organize a Property Investment Forum in Australia. The exclusive event, scheduled to take place on 25 October at Springvale City Hall in Melbourne, is expected to attract more than 450 high-profile investors, including both members of the Sri Lankan diaspora and Australian investors.

The Home Lands Group aims to showcase a diverse range of real estate investment opportunities available in Sri Lanka, highlighting the country’s growing potential as an attractive destination for property investments. The event will showcase a comprehensive investment portfolio that caters to both long-term and short-term investors. These options include beach resort investments, aimed at capitalizing on the surge in tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka, as well as prime central business district (CBD) real estate, retirement villa time-share opportunities, and luxurious golf course compounds. This wide variety of investment prospects reflects the group’s efforts to appeal to different investor preferences and goals, whether for leisure, retirement, or financial growth.

The purpose of this forum is to increase awareness among the Sri Lankan community residing in Australia and Australian investors, emphasizing the potential of Sri Lanka’s real estate sector as a lucrative investment avenue. Additionally, the group’s offerings include innovative lifestyle concepts for residents, blending comfort, luxury, and a cost-effective approach.

Nalin Herath, Chairman of the Home Lands Group, expressed pride in the company’s international expansion and the opportunity to promote Sri Lanka’s real estate sector to the global market. “We are delighted to be the first Sri Lankan real estate company to organize a global event of this scale. The interest in Sri Lankan real estate from overseas investors has surged in recent years, and this Property Investment Forum will serve as a platform to meet that growing demand,” Herath stated. He also noted that the Home Lands Group is proud to be recognized as Sri Lanka’s first multinational real estate company, further solidifying its leadership in the industry.

The Melbourne event will begin with a cocktail reception, offering ample opportunities for networking and fostering new business connections. Popular Sri Lankan music group Marians and the comedic duo Blok and Dino will entertain attendees, ensuring an enjoyable atmosphere. The evening will conclude with a formal gala dinner, where investors can engage in further discussions on the opportunities presented.

SriLankan Airlines, serving as the official airline partner, and ANZ Bank, a key supporter of the event, have joined forces with the Home Lands Group to ensure the forum’s success. These partnerships underscore the significance of the event, marking an important milestone in the Home Lands Group’s ongoing expansion and efforts to tap into global markets.

Earlier this year, the Home Lands Group extended its operations to Australia by establishing Home Lands (Melbourne). The Melbourne-based office, located at 184 Whitehorse Road in Blackburn, is a fully operational real estate entity catering to a wide range of Australian clients. Specializing in both apartment and land sales, Home Lands (Melbourne) is committed to delivering superior service and unmatched convenience, ensuring that customers’ real estate needs are fully met.

Through its Melbourne office, the Home Lands Group has broadened its reach, providing Australian investors with seamless access to investment opportunities in Sri Lanka. This venture represents a strategic move by the company to strengthen its presence in key international markets while continuing to offer high-quality real estate solutions to its clients.

The upcoming Property Investment Forum is a key step in showcasing Sri Lanka’s property sector as a viable and attractive investment destination. By organizing this forum, the Home Lands Group is not only raising awareness about its own projects but also positioning Sri Lanka as a significant player in the global real estate market. With its strong portfolio and international presence, the Home Lands Group continues to lead the way for Sri Lankan developers looking to make their mark on the world stage.
