Canadian PM goes a step further in sanctions against Russia

OTTAWA (CU)_Over the past few days, Western allies launched a host of measures in response to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. The governments of Canada, the US and the European Union all imposed sanctions on the Russian leader and his Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Friday, freezing any assets they own in these three jurisdictions.
