Candidates announced for Commonwealth Youth Council 2021 election

LONDON (CU)_The Electoral Board of the Commonwealth Youth Council on Friday (30 April), announced forty-one young leaders as candidates who will compete for the nine executive seats on the Council. According to statement issued by the Commonwealth Secretariat, the individuals were selected after a careful review of hundreds of nominations received from across the Commonwealth.

The online campaigning for the election began on Friday, as the candidates announced their manifestos. The campaigning will end on 21 May, while voting will take place on 22 and 23 May. The Secretariat said that the results of the election will be issued on 24 May.
