Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ The vibrant festival of Navratri, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil, was celebrated in grand style this year by Kalyan Jewellers. The Navratri celebrations held in Kochi not only captured the essence of devotion but also transformed into a star-studded gathering that dazzled attendees beneath the twinkling night sky. As the festivities kicked off on Thursday, marking the start of Navratri 2024, prominent figures from the Indian film industry made their presence felt.

The event saw an impressive turnout of Bollywood and South stars, including Katrina Kaif, Kriti Sanon, Malaika Arora, Shilpa Shetty, and Ajay Devgn. South Indian actors such as Naga Chaitanya, Tovino Thomas, Dileep, and Kavya Madhavan were also in attendance, all embracing the festive spirit with stunning ethnic outfits that celebrated the rich cultural heritage of India. This year, the Kalyanaraman family curated a special puja ceremony that reverently honored the nine avatars of Durga Goddess.

Bollywood stars showcased their fashionable ethnic wear as they celebrated this significant occasion. Katrina Kaif, Kriti Sanon, and Shilpa Shetty turned heads in their beautiful sarees. Shilpa looked striking in a green saree, while both Kriti and Katrina chose shades of red that resonated with the festival’s spirit. Malaika Arora made a memorable entrance in an exquisite white lehenga, accentuating her look with statement jewellery and a neatly tied bun, her first public appearance since the passing of her stepfather, Anil Mehta. Rashmika Mandanna also made an impression in a heavily embellished red suit set, demonstrating her flair for fashion.
Additionally, Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Ajay Devgn attended the festivities in stylish kurta sets, embodying the essence of festival ethnic outfits. South stars were equally glamorous: Tamil actor Prabu arrived with his wife Punitha, while Malayalam star Dileep brought his wife Kavya Madhavan along. Tovino Thomas and his wife Lidiya, as well as actresses Anna Ben and Anarkali Marikar, also graced the occasion, radiating elegance in their ethnic ensembles.
