Mumbai, India (CU)_ The Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan conveyed her Holi wishes on Monday night. She took to Instagram to post happy images of the Bachchans’ Holi celebrations. Aishwarya shared a series of pictures including images of the Holika Dahan ceremony, which showed lighting a pyre to symbolize the destruction of evil, as well as a glimpse of the Bachchan residence Jalsa.

Only Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s daughter Aaradhya appears in the actress’ Holi album, and there are some glimpses of Bachchan’s house and garden. Aaradhya was spotted in a picture in the garden with the high walls surrounding the Bachchan residence decorated with flowers. Aaradhya Bachchan enjoyed playing with colors, particularly pink.

Aishwarya Rai wrote her Holi message in her Instagram handle. “Happiness, peace, good health and lots of love always. Happy Holi”. Abhishek Bachchan took to Twitter to convey his Holi wishes to fans. He wrote a simple but important message on Holi earlier on the day. He tweeted, “Wishing you all a very happy and safe Holi”.

Amitabh Bachchan posted a valuable throwback picture from the family album, while wishing for Holi on social media. The picture portrayed Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan playing with colors during a Holi celebration, a Holi memory that is decades old. Big B appropriately titled the image with the lyrics of an old song: “Rang barse bheege chunar wali rang barse… holi hai”, a popular Holi song from Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya’s 1981 film Silsila.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are co-starring in Anurag Kashyap’s movie Gulab Jamun. The 47-year-old actress last appeared in Fanney Khan.
