Europe (Commonwealth Union)_ French philosopher Nostradamus’ predictions for 2024 have been revealed, and several of his prophecies would come as seriously bad news.
Prophet Nostradamus has seen several of his predictions come true over the years, and the mystic has some chilling forecasts for next year including royal chaos and a war.
The French philosopher predicts irrevocable climate changes in 2024, with rising temperatures, unprecedented phenomena like fish boiling in the sea, and transformative effects on humanity.
Michel de Nostredame has seen several of his prophecies come true over the years in his book Les Prophéties, released more than 450 years ago. Nostradamus is said to have accurately predicted the shooting of President John F Kennedy, the rise of Adolf Hitler, the start of the Covid pandemic and even 2022’s cost of living crisis.
Fans of the prophet are now looking ahead to see what 2024 may have in store. Here are certain events that may take place in the coming few months according to the mystic.
King Charles drama
One of Nostradamus’ predictions claims King Charles could be in for a bumpy ride next year. Les Prophéties reads : “King of the Isles driven out by force …… replaced by one who will have no mark of a king.”
While no reference is made to a particular king by the writings, some have inferred the monarch in question could be the current head of the British monarchy. Analyst and author of the book The Nostradamus Prophecies, Mario Reading, said the King could step down thanks to “persistent attacks on both himself and his second wife,” Queen Camilla.
The French philosopher has a proven track record of making precise predictions about the royals. He foresaw the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022 and reports suggest he even guessed her age correctly.
Nostradamus has also predicted an escalation in international conflict in 2024. He wrote: “Red adversary will become pale with fear, putting the great ocean in dread.”
Fans of Nostradamus reckon the “red adversary” could be communist China. The “great ocean” suggests that fighting could take place at sea, possibly in the Indian Ocean.
Security experts have been keeping observing the east Asian country closely for some time, which is even said to be gearing up for a space war against the US, reports The Telegraph.
Climate change disaster
It is no secret that climate change is taking its toll on our planet. Earlier this year nations including Italy, Spain and Greece reached record temperatures as high as 48.8C and forest fires wreaked havoc on holiday hotspots.
Flooding has taken place with global warming and sea levels are expected to rise as ice caps melt. Sadly if Nostradamus is to be believed, it seems this pattern isn’t going to change this year.
The prophet wrote “The dry Earth will become more parched and there will be great floods,”. He also warned of a “very great famine through pestiferous wave,” which could hint a tsunami could be on its way and threaten to wipe out crops.

New Pope
The French philosopher also predicted the death of Pope Francis in 2024, the leader of the Catholic Church who will turn 88 next December, and the mystic reckons next year could tragically be his last.
Nostradamus: “Through the death of the very old Pontiff, a Roman of good age will be elected.”
Several candidates could vie for the top spot when the time comes. Anyone hoping to become the Pope must be male and baptised. The pope is then selected from a group of cardinals and those under the age of 80 then vote for their new leader.
