Comptroller and Auditor General calls out Noida authority

NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh (CU)_The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India recently published its report on the Land Acquisition and Allotment of Properties in New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) following an audit that was conducted on 67 group housing plots that were allotted between the 2005-06 and 2017-18 fiscal years. During this period, the local authorities of the planned city sub-divided 71.03 million m2 of land into 113 plots for group housing projects. In its report, the CAG called out the officials for its failures regarding the development.
