Craig Bond has been appointed Senior Vice President and Head of Operations by Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts.

Hotels (Commonwealth Union) _ Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG) has named Craig Bond as its Senior Vice President Head of Operations. Bond assumes this role as PPHG prepares for the opening of key properties, including PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Jakarta, PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka Resort, and Pan Pacific Jakarta in the first half of 2024.

In his new position, Bond will concentrate on enhancing operational excellence by establishing strategic pathways to achieve commercial and organizational goals. Leveraging his extensive global experience, Bond possesses a profound understanding of cultural nuances, allowing him to consistently drive excellence throughout the guest journey.

Mr. Choe Peng Sum, Chief Executive Officer of Pan Pacific Hotels Group, expressed delight in welcoming Craig Bond to the team, emphasizing his deep understanding of the hospitality sector gained through years of international experience. This addition is seen as crucial during a period where PPHG aims to elevate its standards in response to the evolving needs of modern travelers.

Craig Bond brings a wealth of experience from earlier roles at Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Mirvac Hotels and Resorts, and Radisson Hotels and Resorts. Reflecting on his return to PPHG, Bond expressed excitement about contributing to the group’s growth, witnessing its evolution over recent years.

Before rejoining PPHG, Bond served as the Managing Director of La Vie Hotels & Resorts, overseeing growth and operations across various international markets. In his previous role as Executive Vice President – COO at ONYX Hospitality Group, he played a key role in strategic planning and executing business strategies and operational processes across the portfolio.

Before returning to PPHG, Mr. Bond served as the Managing Director of La Vie Hotels & Resorts. In this role, he played a key role in driving expansion and managing operations in various countries, including Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Ukraine, and Vietnam. Prior to that, he held the position of Executive Vice President – COO at ONYX Hospitality Group, overseeing strategic planning and the implementation of business strategies and operational processes across the company’s portfolio.
