London (CWBN)_ The James Bond actor Daniel Craig addressed the delay in the release of the most awaited movie ‘No Time to Die’ and also revealed his advice to his successor as James Bond.
Daniel Craig said that the decision of postponing the release of the up coming movie ‘No Time to Die’ from November to Spring 2021 was taken to ensure that the fans all across the globe will enjoy the movie at the same time.
Daniel Craig starring as Agent 007 for the fifth and final time addressed “This thing is just bigger than all of us”, and added “we want to release the movie at the same time all around the world and this isn’t the right time, so fingers crossed, April 2 is going to be our date”.
The ‘No Time to Die’ being the 25th James Bond movie directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga was all set to release by November 12 in UK and November 20 in USA. But due to the pandemic outbreak and continuous lockdowns globally, the producers decided to push back the release date to Spring 2021.
Craig said he was happy to have returned for ‘No Time to Die’ and added “I am so glad I came back and did this last one. The story it just didn’t feel complete and I needed a break. Once I had and we started talking about story lines and things we could do I was like, ‘I’m in’”.
Daniel made his debut as James Bond in Casino Royal. He recalled his experience celebrated as James Bond in the past years. He succeeded Pierce Brosnan in the role of iconic spy in the 2006 movie directed by Martin Campbell. He said “I was in whole foods supermarket……I bought myself a bottle of vodka and a glass,”.
‘No Time to Die’ being his final movie as James Bond, he was asked for his advice to his successor as James Bond and he replied “don’t f*** it up. It’s a beautiful amazing thing”.
Daniel also casted as James Bond in Casino Royal (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Sky fall (2012), Spectre (2015) and finally No Time to Die in 2021 starring Daniel as Agent 007, Lashana Lynch and Ana de Arms.
