Does Buckingham Palace support the Black Lives Matter movement?

LONDON (CU)_Earlier this year, questions arose as to if the British royal family is in fact racist after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made several allegations against The Firm, including a claim that an unnamed member of the family had raised concerns regarding how dark their son Archie’s skin might be. The claim made headlines across the United Kingdom and the United States, particularly following mass protests which erupted across several parts of the world over the death of George Floyd, an African-American man who was murdered by a police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The campaign in 2020, which initially broke out in several parts of the United States, eventually gained ground across several other countries, including the United Kingdom, where demonstrated defaced the statues of historical leaders who were involved in slave trader many decades ago.  Against such a background, many have been wondering what are the British Royal Family’s thoughts regarding this global movement against racial discrimination and violence against people of colour.
