Ellevo-Q Makes Its Grand Debut in Doha: Bridging Expertise with Timeless Connections

In a bold new move, the UK-based Ellevo Group has forged a joint venture with Petrofac Qatar—dubbed Petro-Q—to launch Ellevo-Q, a pioneering enterprise dedicated to heavy lifting and transport consultancy in Qatar. Headquartered on Doha’s bustling C-Ring Road, this innovative venture kicks off operations today, aiming to serve the region’s rapidly growing oil, gas, and construction sectors.

Ellevo-Q isn’t merely about business expansion; it’s a fusion of engineering excellence and a storied historical connection. Qatar, once under the auspices of the British Empire until its independence in 1971, still retains echoes of that influential legacy. The British presence helped lay the groundwork for modern infrastructure and regulatory practices that continue to influence Qatar’s dynamic business environment. This partnership, therefore, feels almost destined—a contemporary bridge between centuries-old ties and today’s cutting-edge technology.

Jordan Kelly, Ellevo Group’s managing director, emphasized the significance of this collaboration: “This collaboration with Petro-Q marks a significant step forward for Ellevo Group. Petro-Q’s reputation for delivering industry-leading engineering services to major operators in Qatar aligns perfectly with our vision for Ellevo-Q.” His remarks underline the venture’s ambitious goal: to integrate world-class heavy lift solutions that guarantee both safety and efficiency in challenging industrial projects.

Echoing this optimism, Petro-Q chief executive Rony Paul Thekkanath highlighted the mutual benefits of the alliance. “Ellevo Group has an exemplary reputation as global leaders in heavy lift and engineering consultancy services. Their expertise will undoubtedly add substantial value to our clients’ project execution operations in Qatar,” he said. This sentiment is reflective of the broader ambition—uniting the meticulous planning and innovative strategies of a British-founded firm with the robust, locally attuned expertise of Qatar’s premier engineering service provider.

Founded in Warrington, North West England, in September 2023 by industry visionaries Jordan Kelly and John Baker, Ellevo Group has quickly risen as a leader in lift planning, heavy lift and transport consultancy, and comprehensive engineering services, including testing and inspections. With its launch in Qatar, Ellevo-Q is set to redefine the heavy lifting landscape by delivering seamless, integrated solutions that resonate with the region’s ambitious infrastructure projects.

As Ellevo-Q embarks on this exciting chapter, it not only capitalizes on modern engineering prowess but also honors a rich historical legacy—a partnership where modern innovation meets tradition, setting the stage for unprecedented achievements in the heart of Doha.
