Environment watchdog calls out G7’s worst performer on climate change

OTTAWA (CU)_ During this year’s Conference of the Parties (COP26), which recently concluded in Glasgow, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau vowed to present more ambitious targets on slashing carbon emissions, considering the speed and scale of changes needed to limit global warming to 1.5°C. With the environment being one of the major concerns of Canadians, tackling the climate crisis has been a priority for PM Trudeau since he took office in 2015.
