Five soldiers killed in the N Waziristan operation!

Islamabad, Pakistan (CU)_ According to the statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), five security officers sacrificed their lives following a fierce firefight between the terrorists and the soldiers in the North Waziristan area. According to ISPR, the military’s media arm, five terrorists along with a terrorist leader were murdered during the two different intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted in the general regions of Boyya and Mir Ali in the district.

The ISPR stated that the soldiers and terrorists engaged in a fierce firefight during the IBO in Boyya. According to the report, the forces bravely forayed into the terrorists’ area and killed four of them. The ISPR stated, “Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists. The killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and the killing of innocent citizens”.

According to the ISPR statement, Capt Abdul Wali, 26; Naib Subedar Nawaz, 45; Havaldar Ghulam Ali, 34; Lance Naik Ilyas, 33; and Sepoy Zafar Ullah, 29 battled valiantly and embraced Shahadat during the exchange of fire. The statement said, “Sanitisation of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers will not go unpunished”.

According to a second statement from ISPR, during the IBO in Mir Ali, major fire exchanges occurred between the soldiers and terrorists, resulting in the death of terrorist commander Tufail. In addition, firearms and ammo were discovered from the dead terrorists. It was stated that Tufail actively participated in the terrorist operations against security personnel, the manufacture of improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and the murder of innocent individuals. It was also stated that Tufail was the brains behind major terrorist operations in Mir Ali and its neighboring regions.
