  • Climate-Smart Agriculture: Recognizing the need to adapt to climate change, climate-smart agriculture focuses on resilience, productivity, and mitigation. It incorporates practices like drought-tolerant crop varieties, improved water management, and greenhouse gas reduction techniques.

To address food security concerns, international organizations, governments, and NGOs collaborate on various initiatives. These include:

  • United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 2 aims to end hunger, achieve food security, improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture. It provides a framework for global action and cooperation.
