Maye Musk used Twitter to wish her eldest son a happy birthday by posting an old photo and a beautiful message for her son. The flashback snapshot showed Maye Musk carrying her newborn son Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, who is swaddled in a blanket and cuddled by his mother.
Maye Musk, the Canadian author and model, posted the photo on Twitter and wrote, “Happy birthday @elonmusk. Thank you for this wonderful day 50 years ago. You have brought me great joy. Lots of love”. Ms. Musk also highlighted that the hashtag #HappyBirthdayElonMusk was trending on Twitter.
The photo garnered more than 17,000 likes and hundreds of comments from fans wishing Tesla CEO Elon Musk a happy birthday. Elon Musk conveyed his thanks to the fans with a simple heart emoji on the post. Maye Musk frequently shares throwback photos of her family with her fans and followers. She also shared Elon and his brother Kimbal Musk’s teenage photos last week.
Ms Musk also entertained the fans earlier this month when she posted a photo of Elon Musk as a kid, smiling broadly for the camera, while the hashtag #WeLoveYouElon was trending on social media platforms. For his 49th birthday last year, she had also posted a flashback photo of Elon Musk as a child, beaming over his fourth birthday cake.
Elon Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa, to Errol and Maye Musk. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Mr. Musk got admitted into Stanford University’s PhD program but dropped out after a few days. Later, he founded Zip2, the web software startup that earned him a fortune, after being denied for a job at Netscape. Mr Musk is now in the top list of the world’s wealthiest people, with a massive fortune of approximately $165 billion.
