Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra blessed with a baby boy!

Mumbai, India (CU)_ Cricketer Harbhajan Singh announced that he and his wife actress Geeta Basra had been blessed with their second child, a newborn boy. Harbhajan Singh announced the news on Instagram with a lovely photo and the caption that read, “Blessed with a baby boy.” Harbhajan Singh’s baby announcement post read, “Our hearts are full, our lives are complete. Both Geeta and the baby are doing well”. In a joint statement, Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra said, “We are all overwhelmed with joy and would like to extend our gratitude to all our well-wishers for their constant love and support.” Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh already have a four-year-old daughter named Hinaya.

Geeta Basra posted some adorable images from her surprise baby shower last month. According to Geeta Basra’s post, her friends who reside in different countries had arranged a surprise online baby shower with Harbhajan Singh’s support. She thanked her friends saying, “My girls are the best! What a beautiful and sweetest virtual baby shower surprise! Don’t know what I would do without you all but you all made me feel so special and cheered me up during such times. It’s when you miss each other the most of not being able to celebrate such moments together and so many special celebrations missed out on.”

Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra tied the knot in 2015, and their daughter Hinaya was born in 2016. Geeta Basra announced her pregnancy in March this year, and said that her due date falls in July. Geeta Basra’s debut movie was the 2006 film Dil Diya Hai. She is known for her performance in films such as The Train and Zila Ghaziabad. She was most recently seen in the Punjabi film Lock.
