Hollywood celebrity friends, and among those who have lost touch with him is an Olympic legend who once planned three stag dos in three locations before he married Meghan.

Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt became friends with the Duke of Sussex when the royal paid a visit to the Caribbean island in 2012, after the cheeky prince beat the athlete in a sprint race by jumping the start gun. According to Bolt, he has been such good terms with Harry that was wanted to give him three stag dos in three locations, London, Kingston and Vegas, four years ago, as he was determined to give him a triple send-off to remember.

The retired athlete, who has been called the fastest man alive, joked at the time: “I know it’s a lot to ask but these are his [Harry’s] last nights of freedom. I will personally call Meghan and take responsibility for getting him home safely after each.”

However, Bolt admitted that he had lost touch with the prince following his marriage to the former American actress, as the couple continue to hang out more with celebrity friends from Hollywood. “I think he got really serious, really quickly. He is about married life and good for it now so has left that life behind now,” Bolt told The Sun. “I haven’t talked to him in a while but I still would like to keep in contact.”

Several other close pals of Harry, including those dating back to his days at Ludgrove School Primary and some friends he made in the Army also claim they feel they have been cut off from the prince since he left the UK.
