With a total score of 49 against the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2017, RCB also had the lowest overall result.

The Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, with five IPL championships apiece, are the two most successful teams in the league’s fifteen-year existence; Kolkata Knight Riders have won two titles. The Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gujarat Titans, and Rajasthan Royals are the four teams who have won the event once each. The current champions, Chennai, won their fifth title in the Indian Premier League final of 2023 after defeating the reigning champions, Gujarat.
