Minister of State at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology George Freeman MP, said “The vision of a historic UK mission with Axiom Space has the possibility to stimulate a whole new generation to reach for the stars while helping our efforts to shape one of the most ground-breaking and striking space economies in the world, so I look forward to engage in the next stage of this exploratory work progress.

“We need to put the UK at the lead of the global competition for commercial space venture, endure to support scientists and engineers to try new technologies and transmit important study and, eventually, bring the benefits back to people and businesses across the country.”

With this arrangement as the initial foundation, we will shape a complete mission plan in support of the UK’s national and agency aims to development its abilities in space exploration and discovery. Together, they look to reap the advantages of microgravity and help expand the boundaries of innovation to advance our civilization.

The UK Space Agency has issued a application for Information to UK universities, research institutions and engineering to share their thoughts for experiments and technology activists that could be achieved by the UK astronauts during the mission.

They are also gathering ideas from UK organisations for a national space education and public engagement programme. The purpose of this is to encourage the various range of careers in the space industry, drive STEM acceptance, and project the crucial role of space for the UK.
