Singapore (Commonwealth Union)_ Apple has been gradually increasing the availability of its smart speaker, HomePod. According to the latest statement from the company, HomePod will soon be introduced in several countries and that both HomePod and HomePod mini will be available in Singapore beginning April 6. Today, the latest products were uploaded on the Apple Singapore website. Apple has announced that pre-orders for the HomePod in Singapore will start on March 30 at 9 am local time. Further, the HomePod and HomePod mini will be available in all color choices at singapore outlets one week later.

The price of HomePod mini in Singapore is S$139, while the price of  second-generation HomePod will start from $429. The pricing is quite similar to those in the US. Apple launched HomePod mini in 2020 as a more affordable alternative to the original HomePod, which was later canceled by the company. Apple’s little smart speaker is equipped with Siri and AirPlay and functions as a HomeKit hub for smart home accessories. Now, HomePod mini is available in black, white, blue, orange, and yellow colors.

In contrast, the second-generation HomePod replaced the original first-generation HomePod, which was canceled in 2021. The design is nearly identical to the original version, with a few minor modifications. The second-generation HomePod is only available in White and Midnight. Apple has already introduced the HomePod in South Africa, Sweden, Finland, and Norway in December 2022. iOS 16.4 also implies that Apple is planning to introduce the HomePod to Israel too, but the company has not officially verified the news.

HomePod is a smart speaker developed and marketed by Apple Inc. that combines high-quality audio with intelligent voice assistant technology. It was first released in 2018 and has since become a popular choice for those looking to enhance their home audio experience while also gaining the convenience of a virtual assistant. The HomePod is designed to seamlessly integrate with Apple’s ecosystem of products, allowing users to easily control their music, smart home devices, and more using voice commands or the Apple Home app. It uses advanced signal processing and computational audio technologies to deliver rich, room-filling sound, regardless of where it is placed in a room.
