The webinar focused on many viable funding solutions provided by India Exim Bank and JBIC for pharma firms that play a vital role in fighting COVID-19. Through the recently introduced Ubharte Sitaare Program of the Bank, India Exim Bank provides a variety of financing solutions for pharma firms, such as trade finance for importers, both directly and through overseas banks or FIs, and exporters, term loans for research and growth, financing in new capacity and additional capacity, and assistance to pharma companies’ vendors. Pharma firms operating in the COVID ecosystem will benefit from India Exim Bank’s and JBIC’s competitive financing plans.

The collaboration with JBIC comes after QUAD members, including the United States, Australia, Japan, and India, announced a groundbreaking alliance to speed up the conclusion of the COVID-19 pandemic. QUAD leaders are working together to enhance COVID-19 vaccine production in a safe and effective manner.
