Sri Sri University Ayurveda College is pleased to announce that it has achieved third place in India in the Outlook ICARE 2025 Rankings. This recognition comes from an independent national assessment by Outlook magazine. It shows the college’s rapid growth and commitment to quality in Ayurvedic education. Out of 513 Ayurveda colleges in India, achieving such a high ranking just four years after opening in 2021 is an impressive accomplishment. It reflects the hard work of the entire team.
The Outlook ICARE rankings assess schools on several important categories, each contributing to the overall score. These categories include academic research and excellence; governance and admissions; infrastructure and facilities; diversity and outreach; and industry interfaces. Sri Sri University Ayurveda College excelled in all areas, earning a total of 935 points out of 1000. This score is very close to the top-ranked institution, which received 939 points. The four-point difference shows the college’s nearly perfect performance in its operations and offerings.
The college started in 2021 and has quickly emerged as a leader in Ayurvedic education and research. It currently has 14 well-equipped departments, providing a rich learning environment for its students. There are 290 aspiring Ayurveda doctors enrolled, with plans to grow to 500 within the next two years, indicating the college’s increasing popularity and capacity. Also, women make up a majority of the student body, representing 70%, showing the college’s commitment to gender diversity and empowerment in the medical field.
Additionally, the college focusses on advanced Ayurvedic research beyond undergraduate studies. At the moment, 32 Ayurveda doctors are pursuing their PhDs in 10 specialized subjects, offering expansion of knowledge and promoting evidence-based practices in Ayurveda. The institution engages in various research projects covering a wide range of topics within Ayurveda.
