Lastly, the Ayam Cemani is another unusual example. This chicken breed is from Indonesia and has entirely black feathers because of an inherited condition called fibromelanosis. The Ayam Cemani can command a price between $2,500 – $3,000 each because of their rarity and cultural significance.
