Instagram Rich List 2021: How much the celebrities are earning through Instagram posts?

Mumbai, India (CU)_ According to HopperHQ’s 2021 Instagram Rich List, the famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is the top-earning figure on the photo and video sharing site Instagram. As per the reports from the UK-based social media management company list, the Portuguese footballer makes up to $1,604,000, which is around INR 11 crore for every Instagram post. In the meantime, just one Indian, cricketer Virat Kohli, entered the top 20 ranks. The Royal Challengers Bangalore captain was ranked 19th on the list, one step above Demi Lovato, the American singer and songwriter. Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, the other Indian celebrity on the list, came in at number 27.

According to the reports from HopperHQ, Virat Kohli charges around $680,000 to each Instagram post, which is around INR 5 crore per post. Compared to last year, this is a significant increase for the cricketer, who has a 132 million strong fan base. Last year, he was ranked 23rd on the rich list. Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who has 65 million Instagram followers, is ranked 27th on the rich list. According to reports, the actress is paid $403,000, which is around INR 3 crore for each promotional post she publishes on the platform.

The Instagram Rich List of HopperHQ comprises 395 celebrities, athletes, and influencers. Last year, the top rank in the list was wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. He slipped to second place this year after losing the top slot to Cristiano Ronaldo, despite apparently costing more than $1,523,000 each Instagram post.
