LONDON (CU)_The United Kingdom will host a summit next year with the aim of accelerating global vaccine development in order to avoid future pandemics. Announcing the plans on Friday (30 April), British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab noted that the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) will “will help to build a safer world for us all”.
“Ultimately, we need to be prepared for future pandemics,” he said. “As we set out in the integrated review, we all need to work together to solve this global challenge.”
